The debate is about  success......Whether  success
 
depends upon merit or net working or merit +networking


In my opinion in gaining success the most important thing is of 

course Merit. The net working has second place.A 


company  gete success by  its  quality  of  work  forwarded 

by  its goal...A student gets success by his merit of his 


work.....A writer gets his success  by  his merit in writing.....
 
So in my view Merit is main cause of success  in any

field.....!!!

        If a sportman dont have capacity to show his success by
 
his out put...he is  a failure.....generally  a merit  is


inborn quality......One may develop some of thing by 

practising  .....many a times we


observe a child to be brilliant at very young age....or a painter

 has a flair of  painting  which is inborn.....Merit can be gained

  by constant hard work and devotion to one's work..


       There  was  no  use  of  the  word   'net working '.  before 

some years ...it has become familiar in later 

years....The companies


use a big amount of its budget  for  adveritsements  every 

year.......but  some times a certain product  lacking


quality  ( we  can use merit in broader sense)  do not gain 

suceess  in selling.....!


        So thus  in my opinion  Merit  is most important criteria

 
for success....  A topper gets his rank as due to his 


out  put  in examination......Merit marks are counted to gain

 
admission in a college  or in any educational 


institution.......so  to gain success  Merit  is required....surely !
 

A worker or employee in any company is selected


on basis of his Merits .....Thus  I can cite many 

examples....Why we select good schools for our  children..?

......I give  98% to Merit  and  2% to Net-


working.... Even if  you  go  to another country ,your merit  is

 
considered  to  stay there ,it may be your income ,your  other

 
merits  points decided  to  allow  in that  country. In case of
 

seeing  a movie or  going to celebrate your functions one
 

decided  about merit (quality) of a movie and food and
 

enviroment of the hotel......you  will  see  the best  return of
 

your  money first... You may visit any reastaurant or go for a 


movie by net working once but  if  you find that  you are not
 

satisfied you  will not  look back...  You may buy a book by

 
recommandation or say by the opinion of your friend but if

 
you find  that book not worthy you will not give positive

 
report of that book....  you will choose  your life partner on

 
basis of Merit ...you  may be given references but you will

 
take  enough  time  to select ....and  get married  looking  into

 
positive and negative qualities (merits ) in mind.An owner of

 
the building will think twice giving his property on rent after

 
thinking twice... people will take enough  time  to vote for
 

right candidate (some times you may get bad 


experience)...Why  people take divorce ..?Unable to bear the

 
..bad quality in a life partner (reasons may differ ).......Why 


people like Mahatma Gandhiji ,Mahavir and many others are
 

still having so many followers..? Why we name our child 


giving name of class people...? So  thus in my opinion Merit
 

is major force for success... We visit or travel to a place 


which can be a best memory for us..  We like blue sky,

 
rainbow ,the Sun shine ,beautiful flowers..why we dont like
 

cloudy days ,the  hot summar and difficult days ..? Why we

 
dont visit cemetries  ...? Why we visit places of  worship? So

 
friends you will surely get my answer that we always

 
like the things ,people which have Merits or good quality....

 
thus to gain success Merit  plays important role  in my

 
opinion.... There is another point  ....I think  is fate....but I

 
avoided as it    is   not   included in  debate...!
